Window blinds have become a very popular way of helping to decorate any room. They help to characterise, and bring together the whole colour scheme of a room. For the majority of people, the decorating of the window is the last thing they consider. And with careful consideration, the right type of blind can set the tone of the room and really help to finish it off.

Blinds allow the homeowner to control the amount of light that enters the room, shade and the amount of privacy they require. This is resulting in blinds being increasingly chosen as an alternative to curtains.

There are a wide variety of blinds now available on the market:

Roller Blinds are perfectly suited for any room in the house. And the many different styles and colours available help to provide that finishing touch to any room.
Blackout blinds are very popular especially with people with young children. They are ideal for the bedroom, and block out sunlight

Vertical blinds are a practical solution for blocking out sunlight as well as providing privacy. Their clean lines and modern look are especially suitable for patio doors, conservatory windows and offices. They also come in a wide range of colours and patterns. The slats can be pulled right back to the side to give a clear view from the window, or tilted at an angle to provide some privacy.

Venetian blinds are available in PVC, aluminium, wood effect and real wood. Each provide a unique and modern look to a room. The slats can be tilted to provide privacy and block out sunlight, or the slats can be pulled all the way up to allow sunlight to enter the room. This allows the homeowner to control the amount of sunlight and privacy.
